Hey all! Well... another christmas has come and gone... I have to say that this one is definitely a memorable one... My sister Arianne came home for the first time in a long time to spend christmas with us. Usually we get to see her while visiting our Grandparents in St. George but this time she was able to come out to Beatty! :) She brought her dog... Samson... and it was kinda fun... but weird to have a dog in the house for a little while. :) I got quite attached to him before we had to say goodbye...
So Christmas was good as I mentioned... We spent christmas day here in Beatty and then we went to St. George to visit Grandma and Granddad and Richard and his family... I got a lot of reading done among all the visiting too which was fun since with school and all I haven't really been able to read... We just got back a little while ago and are now just finishing with getting everything put where it needs to be. I meant to take picture... yeah... and I didn't! :( Sorry. I really need to be better about that. The kids are so cute! :)
Well I hope you all had a great Christmas! Happy New Year!

Home for the Holidays
So Lori and I are now in Beatty for the two week break that she has from school... I think I mentioned before that we were going to do that. It's been good to be home. We left very late yesterday but it was still a great day. :) Arianne will be coming home tomorrow too... :) I haven't seen her since before my mission! :) It'll be good!
Oh and I so got a nap today. It's probably the first really good Sunday nap I remember having gotten in a long long time! :) It felt so good and I'm so awake right now it's not even funny! hehehe... That's ok... I'll probably got to bed in a little while and then get up early tomorrow to get started with my day. I'm excited for Christmas... I really had a good time shopping for presents this year. I usually have a hard time figuring out what to get but ideas came to me much more readily this year. It'll be fun to see everyone's reactions! :)
Well I don't know if anyone reads this anymore since I've been so sporadic in my posting... But if there is... and if you read it before Christmas... and if I don't post again before Christmas... I hope all of you have a great Christmas! :) Otherwise... I hope you HAD a great Christmas! :)

A successful semester!!!
So I totally got all A's and one B in my classes this semseter... that was so much better than what I was expecting. I was honestly worried about passing the class that I got the B in and the other classes I wasn't sure how they would go though I felt confident that I had passed them... I'll take it! :) I told a friend that if I got an A in the CS class (the one I got the B in), that I might call the teacher up and be like... Are you sure? lol... I probably wouldnt' have but it's a moot point since I didn't get the A... lol
Hmm... well I went to see Forgotten Carols on Monday this week! Oh DANG!! So good! I'm sad though because there's a possibility that they're not coming back... :( At least I got to see it before that happened. Christmas is just around the corner and I'm all finished with my shopping! Horray! :) Oh and I'll be going home with Lori this weekend after we renew our apartment lease... :) Fun stuff... It'll be got to be home for a while. :)
Well I hope life is treating all of you well... Love yas! :)

It's time
School is just about done for the semester. I have finals this coming week... 2 on Monday, and one on Tuesday and Wednesday. YAY me... ok... not really! lol I've still got a lot of studying to try and get done for the test on Tuesday... I'll have to put of work a little bit until I get that done. I'm sure I'll have to work some but I'll probably be doing the bare minimum until after the test. Wednesday... yeah... I need to study for that one to but I'm not sure when I'll fit it in... It'll have to be sometime on Tuesday probably... lol...
Hmm... Well work has been good... We just got finished pushing through the Rotary Bowl website. We've still got a little to do but all the pregame stuff has been taken care of. We'll be able to pull away from that a little now. It's taken a lot of time because we were totally redoing the whole look of the site. If you want to check it out the address is http://www.rotarybowl.com/ Yeah... I had a lot of fun with it. I learned how to do paypal integration too... that was fun... :)
What else...? Hmm... I think that'll have to do for now. I don't have any new pictures at the moment so that'll have to wait. I'll try to take some over christmas though. Well Hope you all are well. I'm sure you've given up on my updating by now... lol! :)

2 Months?!?! Yeah...
Ok so I can be a real slacker sometimes... what can I say... lol. So I finally decided that since I didn't really have anything going on for the moment that I could post on here to let anyone who still happens to be looking at my blog know that I haven't died yet. I'll have to be better...
So a lot has happened. I'll try to get on later and tell you more about the Texas Trip that Lori and I took. I have lots of photos that I can share. I don't have my camera with me right now so I won't be able to put them up now.
Since that trip I have moved back into Vegas, I'm now going to school, and I'm working like crazy to hopefully be able to save some monies... lol. School has be going great. I'm just a little behind in my reading because my Music teacher blitzed through a whole bunch of material this last week. But I'll just have to be diligent this week... I can catch up. My physics class is SOOO much better than last semester. Last semester I had this oriental teacher who couldn't seem to understand why we were having a hard time with the material and he didn't really know how to adjust... It was my first semester back and so I was rusty. He was hard to understand with his accent so that didn't help... it was rough... and oddly enough I still got an A out of it... I think he made a mistake honestly but I sure as heck am not about to go tell him that... lol
Oh... yeah... so school is good. Work has been keeping me busy too. We just finished this last week a major project we've been working on... the Dixie Business Alliance website. We launched it this week. The funny thing is that just about anything that could have gone wrong while we were launching it I think went wrong. First thing I found out that I couldn't access the server. Some setting had gotten change... then the server died and they were trying to get there new one up and running at the same time we were trying to upload and everything... but 5 hours later and several phone calls... yeah... we finally made it. LOL... Now we're diving in on the Rotary Bowl website. I really like the design that Richard's employees came up with for that. It's going to be a fun site to get up and running. I have really had to stretch myself these last several months since i started working for Richard... He's really pushed me and it has really paid off. I have learned A LOT... I started out being able to do some rough scripting work and I have gotten to the point where I can make some pretty interactive setups. It's quite fulfilling... :)
Oh... Last week on Tuesday, I went to a concert. It was the UNLV Symphony Orchestra. They played three pieces. It was the first time I had ever gone to that kind of a concert... actually I think it was the first time I had gone to a concert that wasn't a high school concert. lol. It was a lot of fun. They were incredible. Very unified and together. The first song when the ended they were so together that I was just sitting there thinking... "WOW!" I would definitely do it again. I had a great time.
Most recently we had conference today and yesterday. I really enjoyed this conference. The messages always seem to hit right home. Probably my favorite would have to be the one by President Monson when he was talking about not wasting the time that we have by spending too much time dwelling on the past or dreaming about the future. We really need to let the past be and keep the future in view while focusing on doing what we can do now to improve on our past and make the future happen. It was very inspiring.
Ok... so that's what's up for now. I hope all of you are well. I'll get on later so I can share my texas trip pictures with you...

"The Happiest Place..."
Well our trip was last week... We left monday and got home on thursday. The trip down was kinda cool because it was the first time I had ever driven to Disneyland... The last time I was there I was too young to drive. I think it was actually right before I got my permit. Hmm... Honestly I don't remember the when the last time I was there was. Anyway another cool part of the trip was the fact that we were in a rented mini-van. We got a brand spankin' new Dodge Grand Caravan. It was a way nice ride... except for the funny whistling noise that it would make while driving at high speeds... um yeah... *shakes head at the thought* It was a nice van though.
Ok so that wasn't really that much of a highlight obviously but I thought I'd still mention it. The real fun began when we were walking down "Main Street USA." I wonder why it's called that? Ok so I lied... Actually it began when we got on the train at Main Street... LOL... Usually walking down Main Street is the first thing you do though... :)
I think the ride we were on most was either Pirates of the Caribbean or Thunder Mountain.... Though my personal favorite would have to be Space Mountain... Oh dang... that is way more fun then I ever remembered it being. We got to ride that one three times during the trip. :)
While we didn't get to experience the full show, we were able to see the fireworks which as always were awesome. They did kind of this tour of disney theme. The unfortunate thing about it all was that in order to really get a good show you had to park yourself in front of the castle... Yeah it was packed a good two to three hours before. Maybe if we were able to go to Disneyland more often we might have considered waiting around that long but shoot... What we were able to experience though was amazing. I love how they're all timed out to music... :)
Other favorite memories from the trip would definitely include the first night we were there when Kelli and I went on Splash Mountain... Yeah she sat in the very front and when we came down the last drop... she got soooo wet... We're talking drenched... Yea... Exceedingly! Oh I'll be posting pictures for sure! :) The only dry spots on her were the lower parts of her pant legs... lol
Hmm... I can't think of anything else right now... I'll probably post more later when I have a chance to get on and post my trip pictures. I won't be able to do them tonight but I'll get to them soon.

A new coat of paint!
Oh yeah and I mentioned a while back that Robert had a new addition to his family, Nathanael Isom. I figured I'd add a picture of him since I got some today in my email. Cute huh? The one with the funny looking hair due (probably from working hard all day taking care of the kids...) is my brother, Robert.
I hope you're all well...
