Becoming a Fish

Well not too much has happened but we did have an exciting advancement in our summer progression here at the Isom household in Beatty.  My younger sister Kelli and I went swimming today for the first time this summer.  I had been promising her that we would but time has not allowed really until today.  We actually got to spend just under an hour swimming.  I realized after having not swum for almost 3 years I was a little out of swimming shape... Oye!  It'll come back...  I hope... lol.  I think I'm going to try to alternate biking and swimming as means for exercising here for the next little while so I should be able to get into some pretty good shape I hope....

Oh I almost forgot... I had a little bit of excitement yesterday too.  Our speakers didn't show up... Yeah that's never a good thing!  Rick, a very good friend of mine, was conducting the meeting and I had pretty good hunch when he said that he was going to call on people from the congregation to speak that he was going to call on me... I just knew it... And unfortunately I was right.  Ok so I actually was glad (after the fact of course) that he did call on me but.... still... lol.  Luckily I was able to use some of the thoughts that had been on my mind over the last couple of days as well as a scripture in Colossians 1:21-23.
